A project in Han'ning has successfully made its way into the list of recipients!


The "Global Smart City Expo·Shanghai" was held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center from October 12th to 14th, 2023. The "2023 City Digital Transformation Best Practice Awards" were announced during the event, with the "Han'ning City Center Traffic Calming Project" being recognized as a prime example.

It has been reported that the "2023 City Digital Transformation Best Practice Awards" were jointly organized by the China Information and Communication Research Institute and the Shanghai International Trade Promotion Committee. The competition covers eight main areas—digital governance, digital economy, smart living, smart travel, green and low-carbon, urban innovation, smart security, and smart villages. The purpose is to collect and select top-notch digital city cases and solutions from China and actively facilitate the participation of Chinese cities and projects in the competition, thus facilitating the display and promotion of China's urban digital transformation achievements on the international stage.

Based on public solicitation,initial case assessment and evaluation by experts, the "Han'ning City Center Traffic Calming Project" has beaten other 206 urban digital transformation case studies an won “Outstanding Urban Digital Transformation cases of 2023”. It means the achievements and experience of Han’ning city’s digital transportation and new smart city construction have been reinforced both within and outside China.
"Han'ning City Center Traffic Calming Project" involves the transformation and improvement of 40 traffic congestion hotspots in the city center, divided into intersection governance, regional traffic governance, and school neighbouring governance. The project mainly focuses on the transformation of urban infrastructure, traffic management optimization, multi-tower unity, and landscape upgrading. The construction cycle is 24 months, and the project has basically been completed.
